Three wide straps cross the front of the open toe, and a strap at the back rises to an ankle strap that fastens with a metal buckle, so the sandal is held at your heel and ankle as you walk.
The buckle lets you set the ankle strap tighter or looser to suit your foot. Contrast yellow stitching runs around the edge of the sole above a ridged tread, and a pull loop at the heel helps you slide your foot in before you fasten the buckle.
